bunny bookplates …

Helping start a baby’s library is a great idea for a baby shower. I have made bookplates for a few showers and recently someone needed bookplates for a Petter Rabbit themed shower. I made a little watercolor rabbit and added a background of stars. These went out with the invitations in a little glassine bag with a simple note on a sticker. I also made up a set off coordinating thank you cards for the mom-to-be.

With room to write who the book is from on the stickers the new baby will quickly have a library created by their loved ones.

the new old Letter C studio …

Last week without too much thought I decided it was time to move Letter C from my house back into my old office space. A few car trips and 24 hours later I was moved back in and unpacked. There are things that I still want to get done – like paint the walls either white or light grey and get rid of that big blue circle with the C in it – but for now I am working from my new old office.

add some spring to your notes …

It’s below freezing here today, but there are some new notecards in my etsy shop that will have you thinking spring. The little birds are foil stamped from a custom die I had made from one of my illustrations. Foil stamping the cards leaves a nice slight impression on the cards where the bird was pressed into the card stock.

These cards are available in 3 spring colors – yellow, teal and pink. You can get them individually or if you can’t decide you can get a box set of all three. If you like a more neutral color you can get them in kraft with mint envelopes.
