2013 weekly & pocket planner now available

2013 weekly and pocket planners are now available in my shop. last year i introduced the weekly planner. i didn’t think i would sell many, but it turns out it was the most popular calendar that i offered. the planner has a page per week. each day has enough space for appointments, lists or project notes and a few lined pages in the back for notes you want to keep all year.

this year there is a smaller pocket size monthly planner to choose from. if you prefer to keep your calendar with paper & pencil it’s a great choice to carry with you since it’s only 4.25″ x 5.75″.

you can get all of the letter C calendars here.

weekly worktable

a lot of making has been going on here the last couple of weeks.
here’s a peek at what’s been happening.

the hot stamping machine has been getting lots of use

lots of heart in a jar stickers are being sent out

the arrow design is the new top choice for planners

a little package for a friend in chicago who started a new job

moved cards for another friend and a few sets of address labels ready to ship

and a little birthday gift for my father

good things are about to happen

it has officially become calendar season here at letter C. today the academic planners have started shipping – all packed up with their extra little goodies. every year i look forward to seeing which cover is going to be the most popular – so far the dolly cover is easily the front runner, but that will change a few times before the end of the year. all my calendars, including the 2012 – 2013 academic planner, are available here.

a sweet diy wedding

if you ask me if i do wedding invitations my answer will be “no”. that’s my story, but i must not be sticking to it because i am always working on a wedding or two. i clearly must easily be convinced.

so, i while back when i received an email from alaina about working with her on some wedding invitations i had to say yes. she had been ordering address labels from me for years and was always so sweet. she knew exactly what she wanted for her invites and sent me some sketches she had drawn out. she mailed me some fabric that i scanned in and used for the buntings on the invitation and throughout the other pieces. her mother-in-law made real bunting from the same fabric for wedding decorations. and her sister made super cute bunting/flag place cards — i love when a theme comes together. i think her wedding invitations and all the extras i worked on with her has been my favorite so far. you can see photos from her really sweet and lovely diy wedding on style me pretty here. you can see the cute little favor bags and stickers i helped out with.

working on

i’m in the final stages of my 2013 calendars and planners. i’ve finalized all of the new patterns and colors and now just have to pull everything together. for the first time in 5 years i have included a couple brighter / darker colors. i haven’t decided how i feel about that yet – it’s a big change for me.

last year the academic planners were a big hit. in a couple of weeks i’ll have a limited edition of them available. sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know when they are ready.

stacks

awhile ago i heard somewhere when it comes to organization you are either a piler or a filer. if you look around my studio you can see i am a piler. last weekend i was straightening up before someone stopped by and i noticed everything is in stacks and containers. and everything is out in the open because i know if i put it away i will probably never use it again.

just 10 more days until christmas?

this year i made a little advent calendar for my nieces and nephew. i should have made one for myself because i just realized how fast december has gone by.

if you are looking for christmas gifts or some gift wrapping extras from letter C design it’s not too late. most items ship the day after the order is placed (if possible the same day). the exception for this is address labels and other personalized items requiring a proof.

priority mail delivery (2-3 days) is always an option. on shoplettercdesign.com you can choose priority mail when checking out. if you prefer to shop on etsy you can let me know when ordering that you want priority mail and I will send you a link from paypal for the additional cost.

i am happy to send gifts directly to the recipients gift wrapped and with a note from you — just make a note that it is a gift and what you would like the note from you to say.

if you have questions feel free to email me at cindy {at} lettercdesign . com or send a text to 860 966 6831.

pillows …

Last week was the official start of fall, but you can’t tell from the weather. It was warm and sunny this afternoon so I left my office early to take photos of some pillows. These pillows are a little collaboration between my mom and I. I designed the fabric and had it printed – my mom then sewed them up. I think that she made more test pillows with scrap fabric than final pillows with my fabric, but I love how they came out. There are only 5 pillows left after selling them at a fair this summer. I plan on listing the ones I still have in my etsy shop some time this week.

Since it was so nice out today I ended up working outside here for a little while (until the mosquitos came out).
